  1. What area do you provide services for?
    Mark & Anna’s Maids, Inc. provides maid services for all of Bergen and Passaic counties, as well as most of Essex and Morris counties.

  2. Am I required to be present during the cleaning?
    Not necessarily. Some clients prefer to be home during the cleaning, whereas many are not present. There are no requirements; you can choose what you feel most comfortable with.

  3. How much will it cost to clean my home?
    Pricing is adjusted to meet your individual requirements. Pricing also varies depending on the size of the area cleaned, the condition it is in, and the depth of cleaning requested.

  4. Am I required to sign a contract?
    Absolutely not. We do not ask our clients to sign any contracts at any point.

  5. How can I pay for my cleaning?
    We currently accept cash and check payments.

  6. Do you bring your own supplies?
    Most clients tend to have supplies at hand; however we will be happy to bring our own supplies if you do not wish to provide them.

  7. What if I’m not satisfied with the service I receive?
    If you are not satisfied, we encourage you to let us know. One option you have is to request a change of maids, or if you prefer, you can simply cancel our service with a simple phone call.

  8. What if I need to skip or reschedule a visit?
    You can skip or reschedule any visit. All we ask is that you contact us 24 hours in before the regularly scheduled appointment. This gives us the most flexibility to adjust to your requests.

  9. Do I receive the same maids each visit?
    Yes, unless you wish to change your regular maids. We will do our best to fulfill your requests. Otherwise your maids are consistent.

  10. What time should I be expecting my maids to arrive?
    We will try to schedule your cleanings for whatever time is most convenient for you.

  11. What happens if my appointment falls on a holiday?
    In this case, we will contact you ahead of time to inform you and give you a chance to reschedule. Our maids do not work on the following holidays:

    Sundays
    New Year’s Day
    Memorial Day
    Fourth of July
    Labor Day
    Thanksgiving
    Christmas

  12. What if I have pets?
    Many of our clients have pets and it does not present a problem. If your pet tends to be very active and may disturb the maids while cleaning, you may want to consider keeping him in an enclosed area during the cleaning.

  13. What if my maids break something?
    If you notice something is damaged, you should contact us immediately. In most cases, small things can be replaced easily. Larger, more expensive items are usually taken care of through our insurance.

  14. Am I allowed to hire any of my Mark & Anna’s Maids directly?
    No. Our maids are employed only through our company.
